New Microsoft Store
This past weekend I went into the NEW Microsoft Store at Park Meadows Mall in Denver, Colorado and I am still beaming with excitement. Not only was the store beautiful, sleek and with a state of the art design but it was an amazing space for kids, teens and adults to interact and experience Microsoft technology.
High Points: I am officially adding the Microsoft Surface to my wish list. Starting at approximately $12,000 the Surface allows home and business users to access any Microsoft applications from the touch screen console. The Surface looks like a huge television screen inside a table. In the store they have it set up as a video game console which draws in dozens of kids and parents waiting anxiously to play interactive games on the huge touch screen.
Low Points: None unless you count the fact that I didn’t get to come home with a new Surface.
Other High’s: The Surface was obviously my favorite but the other displays in the store did not disappoint me including demos on their new XBox 360′s, laptop’s, PC’s, print software, music programs and soo much more. Plus, if you are shopping at the mall and want to access wireless internet you can do so right from the Microsoft lounge located at the back of the store. For a list of all the features in the Microsoft stores, go to their official website at: www.MicrosoftStore.com
I definitely applaud Microsoft’s efforts on the launch on these new Microsoft stores. It is awesome to watch kids and adults experience Microsoft technology first-hand. Way to go Microsoft! I will definitely be back!
